BEAST member Yong JunHyung’s current agency Cube Entertainment has expressed their views regarding the controversy embroiling the representative of his former agency, Kim-ssi and KBS.
On 28th October, an exclusive media outlet reported, “Kim-ssi decided to file in a lawsuit against KBS for remarks made by Yong JunHyung during variety program ‘Win Win’ last February, and hence, requested KBS to correct the reported content.” The issue arose when Yong JunHyung revealed Kim-ssi’s ‘slave contract’ and ‘wine bottle threats’. Four days after ‘Win Win’ broadcast, KBS Entertainment Weekly continued to make use of this news in their contents.
According to an exclusive report, during the trials, Yong JunHyung went on court as a witness and expressed that, “Everything I said then was the truth.”
Cube Entertainment spoke to MBN through a phone call, “It’s a fact that Yong JunHyung appeared as a witness for the whole case. But this is a lawsuit between Kim-ssi and KBS. Trials are still ongoing, so there’s nothing more to talk about.
Meanwhile, in the first trial, the judge expressed that, “Although there is a lack of evidence to prove that Yong JunHyung made false claims, but there’s neither sufficient evidence to say that the broadcast contents were genuine as well.”
