Cable Mnet has revealed the shooting set for its music drama ‘MONSTAR’.
In the revealed still-cuts, Yong Junhyung looked serious in a picture as he looks over to Ha YeonSu and Kang Haneul, while in another, he seems to be joking happily. The friendly atmosphere at the shooting set have gathered attention.
The familiar charismatic ‘BEAST Yong JunHyung’ has shown his different charms through these pictures.
According to a representative from ‘MONSTAR’ production crew, Yong JunHyung’s acting skills are outstanding and is passionate on the shooting set that even the director couldn’t stop praising him.
The actors cast for MONSTAR have shown a good team work like real high school students. They are made up of 89-liner Yong JunHyung, 90-liners Ha YeonSu and Kang Haneul. The trio have flaunted their matching teamwork on set. Even when they practice singing or playing the instruments, they’ve shown a serious look. Many have raised anticipation for the upcoming drama.
Yoon HyunGi PD expressed, “The lead actors are of the same age, so they really do look like high school friends,” and “Even when they’re not filming, the actors don’t opt to rest either. They would either practice their singing or playing music instruments. They work very hard for both acting and music at the same time, putting themselves wholly into the shoot”.
Meanwhile, ‘MONSTAR’ is a 12 episodes music drama that talks about wounded teenagers healed and grew alongside with music. It is expected to present not only to music, but also love, friendship and dreams the main leads have for. MONSTAR will be broadcast on May 17th 12AM.
