[Korea.com] B2ST wins the Netizen Award at the 2012 Melon Music Awards

The boygroup B2ST received the Netizen Award at the 2012 Melon Music Award.

On December 14 at 7:00 p.m., the awards ceremony was held at the Gymnasium of the Olympic Park in Seoul and it was hosted by Moon Hee Joon, Nam Woo Hyun, Lee Gi Kwang, and Denny Ahn. On receiving the award, B2ST shared cheerfully, “The parents of all the six members of the group are here with us tonight. We would like to say thank you to our parents.”

They continued to honor their agency, stylists, and official fanclub “Beauty” for the award and shared their joy.

It is the fourth year for the Melon Music Awards to be held. It is a digital music awards ceremony hosted by Loen Entertainment and MBC Plus Media which run the music portal website Melon. It selects the winner by aggregating all the usage data and online voting this year.

The event is held as a joyful music festival with theme of “Music Is Healing.” The musicians who have contributed in the pop culture and dearly loved artist are given a place to communicate and look back on this year’s music trend.
