The lead actor for Mnet music drama ‘MONSTAR’, Yong JunHyung has attracted attention for his non-stop script reading whenever and wherever.

A few filming scene of ‘MONSTAR’ was released by the production crew recently, revealing a few shots of Yong JunHyung’s hardworking look. In the revealed picture, Yong JunHyung was seen reading scripts and music manuscripts, devoting himself fully in practice. In particular, Yong JunHyung and Ha YeonSu’s diligent looks can be seen as well.

PD for ‘MONSTAR’ Yoon HyunKi stated, “Yong JunHyung seemed to have that burdensome ‘first acting challenge’, ‘first lead role’ thoughts, so he’s trying to overcome them through practice. When he was first cast, in order to portray Yoon SeolChan’s role, he diligently practiced his acting skills and instruments-playing skills seamlessly. Even when he returned home at late hours after filming sessions, Yong JunHyung shows a professional look as he reads the script even when he’s about to sleep,” he revealed.

BIS FOOD has revealed that BEAST will be their exclusive models on the 15th of May.

Lee HongKi has revealed that he met up with Yong JunHyung in a motel and spent a date-like day with him.

On the 22nd broadcast of MBC ‘Radio Star’, he revealed, “There were troubles between me and the company, so I left the dorm early morning. I didn’t have any places to go to, so I went to a nearby motel.”, revealing a small story from the past.

He continued, “I felt so lonely, and so I contacted my best friend BEAST’s Yong JunHyung. JunHyung came to the motel. We then went to the beach, riding bikes and bought couple scarfs”, he expressed.

MCs commented, “The whole course was completely like a date”, as they gave interesting responses.

Lee HongKi continued, “We went to Wolmido and went into an occult shop. We’ve met up with the owner, and the most amazing thing was that, he said that I will earn a lot but my money drops very fast too. It’s not that I’ll lose it but rather I use a lot of money” and, “Yong JunHyung’s money comes in a little by little but it builds up. Not long after that, he started earning a lot with his copyright fees”, revealing a surprising story.

Lee HongKi added then, “After coming out from that shop, we went to eat shellfish”, which led to suspicious gazes from the MCs.

[Joy News] ‘MONSTAR’ JunHyung-BTOB to release ‘After Time Passes’

‘MONSTAR’ will be releasing another OST, titled ‘After Time Passes’.

Mnet Music Drama ‘MONSTAR’ will be revealing a new single, titled ‘After Time Passes’ on the 24th afternoon, sang by Yong JunHyung and members of BTOB.

‘After Time Passes’ is the title song for fictional idol group Man in Black’s (made up by Yong JunHyung and members of BTOB). This song was previously played in the first episode broadcasted on the 17th May.

‘After Time Passes’ was formally released by famous English artist, Pastino in 2006. The song will be reborn in addition with Man In Black’s own colors. The remake song will be maintaining the warm vibe of the original song, together with a fusion of vintage sounds and drums as accompaniment. At the same time, this song will feature Yong JunHyung and BTOB’s emotional rapping skills.

‘After Time Passes’ has become a hot topic on various SNS and online community after its broadcast from the first episode. This song is expected to further immerse viewers in emotions in the upcoming second episode.

Meanwhile, ‘After Time Passes’ track and music video will be released on the 24th afternoon.

Yoon Doojoon has shot for Elle magazine June issue photoshoot, together with an interview.

The photoshoot this time round shows Yoon Doojoon’s relaxed and comfortable look, capturing hearts with his tender gaze while his left side profile left a strong impression.

Yoon Doojoon has recently filmed for drama IRIS 2 as Seo HyunWoo, and had received recognition as an actor.

[Newsen] JunHyung-BTOB-Ha YeonSu to reveal first OST for MONSTAR

Yong JunHyung will be releasing a new track through MONSTAR.

Following the first broadcast of Mnet Music Drama ‘MONSTAR’ on the 17th May, the first OST ‘Past Days’ will be  lifting its veil along with the episode. It is also revealed that Yong JunHyung, BTOB and Ha YeonSu’s reinterpretation of ‘Past Days’, originally sang by Yoo JaeHa, will be revealed on the 17th May, prior to the first broadcast. ’Past Days’ will be the opening for the first episode of the drama, and therefore, it is an important song.

This song starts off with Ha YeonSu’s innocent vocals and acoustic guitar melody, which then switch into a strong dance song as Yong JunHyung and BTOB’s powerful raps comes in. It was reported that this song listeners won’t easily tell that it’s a remake of an old song since it combines two genres into one that will easily capture ears. Idol group in the drama, Man In Black are set to dance to it, presenting a glamorous stage in the show.

During May 15th broadcast of Mnet ‘Wide Celebrity News’, they have revealed connections stars have with other celebrities during school days. Among many celebrities, Good-Son Lee Seunggi and honey vocals Yang Yoseob were included.

Previously, Lee Seunggi and BEAST faced a battle on a music broadcast station. Winner Lee Seunggi expressed his thoughts after the announcement, “I’m happy for being able to be first place nominees with my close junior Yang Yoseob. I’m sorry for winning”, and then shared a hug with Yang Yoseob.

BEAST’s Yong JunHyung has mentioned member Yoon Doojoon.

During the press conference for ‘MONSTAR’, when asked if the members gave advice on acting, JunHyung expressed, “We don’t really do this among the members.”

He then mentioned member Yoon Doojoon where he acted in ‘IRIS 2′ aired not long ago.

Yong JunHyung confessed, “Yoon Doojoon acted in ‘IRIS’. Whenever Yoon Doojoon comes back to the dorm,   he looked worn out. So I had this ‘I can’t do dramas’ thoughts.”

Regarding MONSTAR, Yong JunHyung also expressed, “Because there were some scenes shot overseas, I wonder if I can do it well” and, “There are many things to prepare, including BEAST’s album this time round, so the members gave a few words of encouragement,” he revealed.

Meanwhile, MONSTAR will be aired on 17th May.

BEAST Yang Yoseob has made his solo debut in Japan.

Last year, Yang Yoseob who made a successful solo debut in Korea, has released his very own first solo album in Japan with ‘The First Collage’.

In addition to the Korea release of ‘The First Collage’, a Japanese version of title track, ‘Caffeine’ as well as Japanese track ‘Another Orion’ and more which total up to 7 tracks were included.

Yang Yoseob has undergone promotions in Japan in last April, having an early meeting with Japanese fans and gave a premonition of his upcoming Japan debut.

As a commemoration of his debut, Yang Yoseob had held a fan meeting event with about 3000 fans.
